did you realize that Jekyll was on all three bases? when did it get to the buffyverse? oh, that's right, we just FORGOT which bases it was on way to go us. Where did we count the Creepy Katherine Thing? with the gateverse
but it's so dark, it should be the buffyverse Jekyll, and the gateverse should be less creeptastic
how does it affect the ratio?
it's 3:2
and then assuming the gateverse has the standard Jackman/Claire, Min/Miranda in it
adjusted it comes to
BUFFYVERSE 23:18
GATEVERSE 34:40
and then that altConnor/paleoDaniel brings us to
BUFFYVERSE 23:19
and the acknowledgement of two NCIS slash pairings, and Chase/Daniel brings us to
GATEVERSE 34:43
So now the record should show:
ROMMIEVERSE 4:0
FLYVERSE 2:1
CASEVERSE 5:2
WHONIVERSE 59:42
BUFFYVERSE 23:19
GATEVERSE 34:43
CROSSOVERVERSE 127:107
oh, and altYvonne? is Claudia Brown's aide. she's like the Walter of TWP and will take the Cybermen and go only after being passed up for promotion twice.
this means that Claudia eventually either dies or goes off to do something else, and then her replacement does the same, and there's a third boss after that
now the big problem I have with not timelining it is that no timeline has enough blanks filled
that's what the storysheet copy is for. the bold in my version is things that are not actually timelined yet, and I can do nothing about this until the necessary blanks are filled in
which means we need to actually focus and finish something
here's an idea
the Sherlock stories with Alice Morgan are all gateverse. on the buffyverse the Sherlock fandom exists purely to watch Sherlock interact with Sam Tyler. so we don't need to follow it, or force it to fit, you know why? because the 4400 who sent him to a shadow world in the past could just as easily send him into a shadow present or a shadow future, and should in fact do both
Sherlock is the shadow present. these shadows are almost like Bubbles that intersect oddly. almost like Dinotopia in relation to Altrusia. anyway, this 4400 will, sometime in 2010, sent Sam Tyler into a shadow present where Sherlock lives. that way this version only need exist for a single series, and then Sam Tyler can wake up again. now, as for that shadow future
well, futures are less predictable. the chances of getting a future that even coincides with the present you're in are slim to none. so I mentioned how I wanted Dark Angel? yeah, that would be the shadow future. not that that is any way helpful
anyway, since the shadow present needs to be 2010, and the pivotal moment for Dark Angel was 2009 (for those who don't know/remember, there was an EMP attack that darkened America in 2009, and DA was set some years after that), then the shadow future has to be first. which is great except that Sam Tyler just woke up and is supposed to go to work at TSR, not go into another coma. which means he can't be in the shadow future very long. oh! this is actually a teaching thing. in DA, I don't think we ever learned who darkened America or why, because America sort of went into the dark ages or whatever. so what if it wasn't actually an attack, it was the result of something that TSR did/is going to do, and Sam Tyler can stop it from happening once he wakes up.
which means that there are AU versions of Dark Angel in Buffyverse America. a project manticore and all that, but none of the events happened. and I'm not doing anything with it yet, because I need to relearn the project manticore history before I can AU, and also I'm working on the britset bits now
there shadow worlds are absolutely TSRs business. they're a weird function of space-time. which means the 4400 who sends Sam into them must also become a member of TSR. when he does.
if the past was a shadow world which doesn't really exist, and the people in it didn't/don't really exist, how is the missing person the 4400? that makes no sense. the shadow worlds do exist, of course they do, but they exist in a perpetual state of flux, they're schroedingers realities, and anyone with a half-developed timesense would walk through one and feel that, or at least feel the possibility of it, depending on whether they saw the reality, or the shadow, or both. which means a Time Lord with a human companion would see something completely different from his/her companion
since anomalies can cross universes, and can connect to Amura because of bits of Altrusia, then Dinotopia's fusion with Altrusia should mean that there could be Cytherian anomalies
the Dinotopian Cytherians have a ship. a tiny one, big enough for the original crew to have returned, had they not fused with Altrusia. I don't know where it is yet, but when Dinotopia snaps into the buffyverse, the ship comes online
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Scaphonyx
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Diadectes
dinotopia on buffyverse time, then the arrivals are all 2016, which is ridiculously far. so the snapping actually sets them back three years. means the arrivals are 2011. the Karl/Annie age diff is resolved thusly. call it a function of having been attached to Altrusia but existing for far longer, time-space got stretched or something. it works.
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Diplocaulus
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Eryops
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Euparkeria
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Lycaenops
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Thrinaxodon
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Triadobatrachus
so who is Sam Tyler's 4400? this 4400 must be present in all the shadow worlds, at the same time Sam is. this means it must be someone Sam Tyler knew in the 70's. and then the kid who went missing is just a construct, something half-fake and half-real. it happened, but names have been changed. the barkeep, Nelson, who always seems to know what's going on.
is there any reason a portal from one universe to another has to have the times match up? I know the Portals do, and the CDG, but there's no reason they HAVE to. because I think the Pearadyne wormhole could end up in the buffyverse. it would be TSR's problem, and maybe we could get a couple of people moved. for instance, I think Josie should end up in TSR. Lucas can't because he has cloneJosie and such, and Z can't because he has to be around to date Holly/Ronnie. (why does Holly change her name? she doesn't, that's silly. just because her younger self calls her something is no reason to have it changed, and I like the sound of Holly better.) I don't like Vaughn enough to want him to. Corinne and Marshall are gonna have a baby and a wedding, but these don't necessarily stop them, a lot of the Pearadyne things don't need to be stories. for instance, both cloneJosie's kids births? so long as we know where they are, they don't need their own story. Corinne and Marshall's kid, Bobby, can just as easily be born in TSR as in Pearadyne. for that matter, so can Corinne and Marshall's wedding.. then there's only one series of Pearadyne, followed by two specials: Sara's return (a two parter involving TSR) and Blackie fixing the pocket universe. this is not an unusual format.
the Sherlock shadow present is different from the shadow past and future. they can step back into it at any time. so in Sept of 2010, Sam goes comatose and he and Nelson slip into the shadow present. to be fair to the series, three stories all set in that month. whatever goes on at TSR while Sam is gone, Nelson is aware of both. Sam is a DI on loan to Lestrade, which is how we can get away with stepping in and out.
so, TSR is, at the point we're at: Lester, Nick, twoStephen, altAdeola, Sam Tyler, Nelson, Josie, Corinne, and Marshall.
who's turn is it to have an emotional arc?
oh! Josie, Corinne, and Marshall come from the whoniverse base. do they still have to follow buffyverse rules?
~
here's the thing about the Sanctuary stories. after Tesla and Magnus split up, there are only 8 randomly split up stories in the Old City Sanctuary. which leads me to believe that some of them are not actually Old City stories at all, but that Helen and Henry transfered to the UK Sanctuary at some point. after the Stone of Wonderland fails (September 2012). after that because that one I can do as a special. Alice and Hatter's time with TWP, when Donna takes them and such, does that even have to be told as a Sanctuary story? I mean, aside from them getting taken from the Sanctuary and getting back, it's barely anything to do with the Sanctuary at all. so that can be a special as well. leaving and coming back can be told as two parts, I guess. and the cross-dimensional mothers daughter road trip? also a two part special. so I guess some of this is easy to write off. then Tesla borrows Henry from the Old City, but when they return they return to the UK Sanctuary, as does Magnus. that makes sense. the Sanctuary things are all split up weird, because they're almost all so separate that they become specials. which is fine, really.
Jack's episode list is done, except for what hasn't made it to the timeline/storysheets yet. which means Jack/Katie isn't on there, nor anything after (and the must be after, because that's only one recruit, and after that he must go somewhere and do something and reach an endpoint).
here's the division:
9, ending with him, Romana, and Astrid staying with TWG
7, ending with toxic saliva aliens
9, so that the next one starts with the beginning of TWS
8, ending with Elle's Mauve Signal
9, ending with the second Torchwood Heads meeting and Ana and Domlir's transfer
7, encompassing all of memAdam's Nine-deception
9, ending with the curing of the clones
9, ending with Jack'n'John's wedding
9, ending with the ESPers sterilization and Jack leaving with the domestics
8, ending with John's ghost
7, ending with Jack going with Grace when the ghost dissipates
leapingSam is one 8 episode series, ending with his return home
R&D counts as SJA. The only one that wasn't counted with them was Hyde's stabilization, and that's been dealt with now. just wanted to point it out.
okay, now, what about Ace? Ace and Christina getting together takes about 3 stories, after which it's about a year before they join Sally and Larry. which means that if there were two more stories after they join Sally and Larry, we could just call it two series, with Ace's eventual departure (and Christina's) not being a part of it at all. just being part of where they ended up. so, two alien stories. give me a sec, I bet there's something in the research. here we go
listverse.com/2009/07/03/10-more-mysteries-that-remain-unsolved/ 4
The Grinning Man
looks at them with a permanent grin on his face.
[t]he man was over six feet tall, they agreed, and was dressed in a sparkling green coverall costume that shimmered and seemed to reflect the street lights. There was a wide black belt around his waist. He had a very dark complexion, and little round eyes…real beady…set far apart. no hair, ears, or nose on this figure.”
telepathically told a witness that his name was “Indrid Cold”.
that's one. obviously an alien, being creepy.
the other one is something I'm going to call "the Yellow". it's an alien entity with no physical characterists outside of being yellow, not even a definite size.
the Limerick is cursed. I cannot figure out how to timeline it, because half it's plots don't take place anywhere near it. and aren't properly labelled (my own damn fault, I know). anyway, I give up. Cece?
John, then
7, ending with his imprisonment by the Shadow Proclamation
7, ending with telepathic whiplash
9, ending with the five parter
9, ending with memAdam's death
8, ending with Rainbow
8, ending with the world split
5, ending with the birth of Ewan
6, ending with his being eaten by the man-eating plant
8, ending with the ghost dissipating
Susan's got two season. the first is 15 episodes and is her entire time with Elliot/Erin/Jamie, and the second is 13 and covers her time in the Tardis and on New Gallifrey, ending with her fobwatch
JAMIE25 IS THE ONE WHO RECRUITS ALICE MORGAN FOR THE STORYSHEETS
MAX[6] IS THE TAG FOR THE TIMELINE
okay, Jamie is one of the weird divided ones. it goes like this
Elliot/Eva are previous.
so his Rommieverse adventure is one.
then he and Susan on Atlantis, and dropping her off, which makes 16,
3 for his time with Tesla,
2 with his wife, joining the NTA
3 on the Christa
1 recruiting Alice Morgan
1 for the Last Supper Trap, which is his end point
okay, we can't do Lydia because of the Talia Blanks. but we SHOULD be able to do Malcolm
and Friday
actually, let's start with her
she's split up by her names
4 as Friday, ending with altYvonne and Cybermen
4 as Esmee, with Saffron and Gray in Camelot
2 as Lorelei, after her rescute from Camelot
1 as Jane, and then a special for when Sister-of-Mine gets her
okay, Malcolm. and I don't HAVE to do one for the Limerick, because Malcolm parallels it. until it becomes the NTA Limerick, and then there aren't really stories for it
Malcolm is set up pretty much the same way Friday was.
4, ending with Marisela leaving (Nathan)
2, Esmee leaving and being rescued (Clarence)
2, Sinclair helping Helen (Sinclair)
6, Cyrus at Pearadyne (Cyrus)
3, Bilis (Alexander
and the one where the Doctor fixes Ee (Malcolm)
Gray only has the one season, and it's 5 episodes long, from his escape from the ruins of the Hub with Esmee to his disappearance due to youngGray
I've set QLSam up with a buffer "To find out what Sam Beckett is doing between this and his time in Jack's headspace, check out the ARC starting in May 2010", so his first two stories: SJA and picking up Al and Ziggy come before, and the first story after is the beginning of the headspace sharing
okay, Danny Diane and Lucy have this problem where their time in Altrusia hasn't been done. so they've been taken off the ARC prequels, btw. they don't belong there. that's too long to be a previous list.

Slashy (9:42 PM): hallo
Raquel Tabor (9:42 PM): hey
Slashy (9:42 PM): how goes it?
Raquel Tabor (9:42 PM): it goes
Raquel Tabor (9:42 PM): I have off til friday
Slashy (9:42 PM): ooh
Slashy (9:42 PM): shiny
Raquel Tabor (9:42 PM): with you?
Slashy (9:42 PM): all right
Slashy (9:42 PM): trying to "episode" my storysheets is a pain in the arse
Raquel Tabor (9:43 PM): haha
Slashy (9:43 PM): I didn't label the Limerick properly. And it is IMPOSSIBLE to figure out.
Slashy (9:43 PM): /exaggerating
Raquel Tabor (9:43 PM): limerick
Slashy (9:43 PM): the timeship the Time Agents were/are using as a base
Raquel Tabor (9:44 PM): ah
Slashy (9:44 PM): after the Time Agency shut down, it was the only ship with agents on it. It was where Malcolm, Elle, and Friday hung out. And when Grace restarted the Time Agency she moved it into another universe but continues to use it.
Slashy (9:44 PM): and I DIDN'T LABEL THIS IN THE STORYSHEETS
Raquel Tabor (9:45 PM): www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7FeeamC4qk&feature=player_embedded</font>
Raquel Tabor (9:45 PM): this is amazing
Slashy (9:45 PM): what is it?
Slashy (9:45 PM): before I click on it
Raquel Tabor (9:45 PM): it's a guy shooting a bfg
Raquel Tabor (9:45 PM): it's hilarious
Slashy (9:45 PM): I see
Slashy (9:46 PM): I'll click on it later
Raquel Tabor (9:46 PM): it's 44 seconds long
Slashy (9:46 PM): ~sigh~ Fine.
Slashy (9:48 PM): there. happy now?
Raquel Tabor (9:48 PM): yes
Slashy (9:48 PM): good
Raquel Tabor (9:48 PM): it was funny though'
Slashy (9:49 PM): ~pulls hair out~ If I had done this right from the beginning, it wouldn't be such a problem now.
Slashy (9:50 PM): If I had known how big this would get when I started, I'd have done this right from the beginning.
Raquel Tabor (9:50 PM): lol
Slashy (9:50 PM): excuse me while I go scream very loudly
Slashy (9:50 PM): brb
Raquel Tabor (9:51 PM): kk
Slashy (9:51 PM): back
Slashy (9:51 PM): that probably didn't accomplish anything other than annoying the neighbors
Slashy (9:52 PM): okay. I give up on the Limerick. I'm going to episode John's stories.
Slashy (9:52 PM): that will be tedious, but not actually *difficult*
Raquel Tabor (9:52 PM): lol
Raquel Tabor (9:52 PM): have fun
Slashy (9:53 PM): yeah, not the word for this part of the crossoververse work
Slashy (9:53 PM): you should try it sometime, then tell me how much fun it is
Raquel Tabor (9:54 PM): ^^ If I knew jack about what was going on, maybe I'd help
Slashy (9:54 PM): it is, usually, about as easy as looking at the storysheets
Slashy (9:55 PM): I haven't done any of the linear ones yet
Slashy (9:55 PM): ...~headdesk~ WHY haven't I done any of the linear ones yet?
Raquel Tabor (9:55 PM): you enjoy torturing yourself?
Slashy (9:56 PM): clearly
Raquel Tabor (9:57 PM): The Focke-Wulf Triebfluegel, or "powered wings interceptor," used a simple two-step process to get off the ground. The pilot would pray to whichever particular deity he held dear and then fire off the ramjet engines at the end of the rotor blades.
Slashy (9:57 PM): ...
Raquel Tabor (9:58 PM): yes
Raquel Tabor (10:05 PM): Eventually, you are going to just give up on the surface world, because it is full of robots and bullets that pilot themselves, and seriously, fuck that. Really, the only safe place is in some kind of supervillain underground facility or cave system. That works in the comics, right?
Slashy (10:05 PM): heh
Slashy (10:06 PM): oh dear. know what I've just realized?
Raquel Tabor (10:06 PM): hmm?
Slashy (10:07 PM): Handy/Rose/Jack, the Master at TWS, Rose/Twelve
this story. let me tell you the thing that is wrong with it.
Raquel Tabor (10:07 PM): "The thing is, the flaming balls don't actually have to hit you. The concept works something like a martini shaker; the reason the shaker cools your delicious drink faster than simply mixing in ice cubes is because they move around the liquid inside, cooling a higher volume in a much shorter time. With the KFI, you get essentially the same thing, except the ice cubes are flaming balls that raise the ambient air temperature to over 1000 degrees in seconds, not to mention knocking down doors and spreading the same horror throughout the building.
Slashy (10:07 PM): I have not accounted for where John is. While the Master is loose in TWS.
Raquel Tabor (10:07 PM): ...
Raquel Tabor (10:07 PM):
Raquel Tabor (10:10 PM): "Not to mention that all of the safety testing was conducted by the army. The same people who want a green light given on the weapon's safety. So the testing procedure probably went like this:The Army: Is that weapon safe? The Army: Yes.The Army: Excellent
Slashy (10:11 PM): what are you quoting from?
Raquel Tabor (10:11 PM): cracked
Raquel Tabor (10:12 PM): www.cracked.com/article_16710_6-non-lethal-weapons-thatll-make-you-wish-you-were-dead_p2.html
Slashy (10:14 PM): ah
Slashy (10:15 PM): of course
Raquel Tabor (10:15 PM): ^^
Raquel Tabor (10:18 PM): They also noted cursing starts from the more emotional right brain than the uppity school boy left brain, where most language occurs and the parties are all boring and shit.

Raquel Tabor (10:22 PM): ...?
Slashy (10:24 PM): John's Sex Rehab sponsor robot. Who kidnapped him when she was malfunctioning.
Raquel Tabor (10:24 PM): oh
Raquel Tabor (10:24 PM): right
Slashy (10:24 PM): I'm not surprised you don't remember. you were barely aware of it when it was a new idea

Slashy (10:38 PM): er... do you remember at which part of the five-parter did the Master/John hatesex occur?
Raquel Tabor (10:38 PM): ...
Slashy (10:38 PM): okay. I'll go look it up.
Slashy (10:44 PM): done. John is done. Episoded and divied
Slashy (10:44 PM): ha
Raquel Tabor (10:44 PM):
Slashy (10:44 PM): I feel accomplished
Slashy (10:45 PM): ...the only thing on more of these episode lists than the five parter is the world split
Slashy (10:45 PM): that is hilarious to me
Raquel Tabor (10:45 PM):
Slashy (10:46 PM): see, once I get these all done properly, I'll be able to tell where I actually have blanks to still fill in. and once that's accomplished, the whoniverse outline will actually be FINISHED.
Slashy (10:46 PM): granted, I'll still have all the other, but one of them will be done
Raquel Tabor (10:47 PM): heh
Slashy (10:50 PM): I'm always amused by this one: "SG-1/Atlantis - Vala announces pregnancy and outs Daniel to Jack"
Raquel Tabor (10:50 PM):
Raquel Tabor (10:50 PM): Can't wait for that one.
Raquel Tabor (10:50 PM): I actually *remember* that one
Slashy (10:52 PM): that's the one I started working on for Nano
Raquel Tabor (10:52 PM): the one you wrote 5k words of?
Raquel Tabor (10:54 PM): www.cracked.com/photoplasty_170_14-tourism-ads-destinations-nobody-wants-to-visit_p14#1
Slashy (10:55 PM): well... the 5k was parts of different stories. I think I have about 1k of five different ones
Raquel Tabor (10:55 PM): heh
Slashy (10:59 PM): since after Susan is fobwatched I do not plan on unfobwatching her, and she will always stay with Atlantis. Do I have to follow every Atlantis story after that and episode it with Susan, or can I just include a "to continue Susan, read Atlantis from _" tag?
Raquel Tabor (10:59 PM): second
Slashy (10:59 PM): THANK GOD
Raquel Tabor (10:59 PM):
Slashy (10:59 PM): ta
Slashy (11:10 PM): dammit. I haven't labelled Jenny at all well. It doesn't help that she has blanks.
Raquel Tabor (11:10 PM): lol
Slashy (11:11 PM): I have random adventures for her for after the Room becomes a Tardis and the gateverse ceases to exist. But I haven't actually gotten THAT FAR YET in the outline.
Slashy (11:12 PM): she is not the only one I've done this two. There are at least three people who rather than having name[#] on the timeline have name[*#] just so I don't get confused.
Slashy (11:12 PM): ...random w why?
Raquel Tabor (11:12 PM): awesome
Raquel Tabor (11:12 PM): you have no idea how hard I'm laughing at you right now
Slashy (11:12 PM): shuddup
Slashy (11:13 PM): this wouldn't be a problem if people got online every now and then and actually plotted
Slashy (11:13 PM): but we've all been so busy doing this part of it
Slashy (11:13 PM): we forgot to actually do anything OTHER than this part of it
Slashy (11:14 PM): I has a question
Raquel Tabor (11:14 PM): hmm?
Slashy (11:14 PM): folks from the whoniverse who I've at some point shifted over to TWP, which is on the buffyverse base. Are they supposed to follow the darker Buffyverse Rules? or do those not apply?
Raquel Tabor (11:15 PM): they do not apply
Slashy (11:15 PM): good
Slashy (11:15 PM): well. mostly good.
Slashy (11:19 PM): I can't do Lydia's list yet, because Lydia has massive Talia Blanks in the flyverse, which I have barely touched. Damn. I was hoping I'd be able to get all the old Time Agents done.
Raquel Tabor (11:40 PM): www.cracked.com/blog/6-types-awful-valentines-day-youre-recovering-from/
Raquel Tabor (11:45 PM): g'night
Slashy (11:46 PM): night

the Dinotopian Cytherians have a ship. a tiny one, big enough for the original crew to have returned, had they not fused with Altrusia. I don't know where it is yet, but when Dinotopia snaps into the buffyverse, the ship comes online
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Scaphonyx
www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaurs-for-children.php?dinosaur=Diadectes
dinotopia on buffyverse time, then the arrivals are all 2016, which is ridiculously far. so the snapping actually sets them back three years. means the arrivals are 2011. the Karl/Annie age diff is resolved thusly. call it a function of having been attached to Altrusia but existing for far longer, time-space got stretched or something. it works.

so who is Sam Tyler's 4400? this 4400 must be present in all the shadow worlds, at the same time Sam is. this means it must be someone Sam Tyler knew in the 70's. and then the kid who went missing is just a construct, something half-fake and half-real. it happened, but names have been changed. the barkeep, Nelson, who always seems to know what's going on.
is there any reason a portal from one universe to another has to have the times match up?

Slashy (10:22 PM): ...until I was doing this, I completely forgot about the Melissa thing
Raquel Tabor (10:24 PM): brb
Raquel Tabor (10:27 PM): back
Raquel Tabor (10:32 PM): www.cracked.com/article_17460_the-6-biggest-dick-moves-in-history-science.html
